Paint Protection Film / PPF in Milford, CT.

Paint Protection Film or PPF, is the only way to protect your brand new Tesla or ICE vehicle’s new paint and clear coat from harmful road debris.

Automotive paint systems, especially Tesla and newer vehicles, are more prone to rock chips and abrasion than paints of the past, thus, Paint Protection Film / PPF is your first line of defense against these contaminates. By applying and adhering an 8 mil thick barrier between your paint and the road ahead, Paint Protection Film / PPF preserves the surface it is being applied to.

Our industry leading installation techniques provide an unrivaled level of fit and finish, making the PPF nearly invisible to the naked eye once installed.

We are an authorized and certified FlexiShield Installer. FlexiShield is an industry leader in Paint Protection Film innovation, bringing the world first Color-Change PPF to market! We proudly support and promote FlexiShield as an American Made Product.

A Tough Defense Against the Harsh Road

FlexiShield Paint Protection products are self-healing and heat curable because of a flexible component in the film, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). This class of films have many chemically enhanced properties including elasticity, transparency, stain and abrasion resistance. A combination of hard and soft co-polymers reacts to rebind and retain their shape causing these PPF films to reseal and heal themselves.

OUR PAINT PROTECTION FILM PROCESS

  • #1 VEHICLE PREP

Clean the car surface: Before installing the paint protection film, make sure your car is clean and free of any dirt, debris, or wax. Wash your car with soap and water, dry it with a towel, and clean it with a clay bar or solvent-based cleaner to remove any contaminants.

  • #2 PLOT DESIGN

Create a design for the PPF: The installer will use a computer software program to create a design for the PPF that fits the specific areas of your car that need protection.

  • #3 CUT FILM

Use a cutting machine to cut the PPF: The installer will use a special cutting machine to precisely cut the PPF according to the design created in step 2. This machine ensures the PPF fits perfectly to the curves and contours of your car.

  • #4 APPLY PPF

Apply the PPF to the car: The installer will carefully apply the PPF to the car's surface, starting from one end and working their way across. They will use a tool to smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles that may form during application.

  • #5 TRIM

Trim any excess PPF: After applying the PPF, the installer will trim any excess material from the edges of the car to ensure a perfect fit or wrap edges in areas that can be wrapped.

  • #6 FINAL STEP

Finish the installation: The installer will ensure that the PPF is firmly adhered to the car's surface, with no visible bubbles or wrinkles. This process involves smoothing out any remaining bubbles or wrinkles, and making sure the PPF is securely attached to the car.
