Paint Enhancement

A paint enhancement procedure is designed to address minor imperfections and scratches found on a car's paint surface. This method offers a less comprehensive solution compared to a full paint correction, which is reserved for tackling deeper scratches and more pronounced defects.

In a paint enhancement, a gentle abrasive polish is skillfully applied to eliminate surface scratches and swirl marks. The outcome is a refined paint texture that showcases heightened smoothness and shine.

Opting for a paint enhancement is ideal for vehicles exhibiting slight imperfections on their paint surfaces, seeking a rejuvenating treatment without the need for a complete paint correction. You might have noticed that our approach to motorcycle detailing is consistent with how we treat all vehicles on our website. That's because motorcycles, like cars, require a foundational level of cleaning before we enhance their overall appearance.

The initial treatment, known as the "Base Detail," usually costs between $150 to $200 for most bikes. It involves a thorough cleaning to remove oil, grease, bugs, and road grime, along with a careful hand wash and protective spray wax. While the Base Detail covers the basics, many of our clients opt for more.

OUR PAINT ENHANCEMENT PROCESS

  • #1 WASH

    Wash the car: The first step in a full exterior detailing process is to thoroughly wash the car to remove any dirt, dust, and grime that has accumulated on the exterior. We use a gentle soap and high-pressure water to remove any dirt and debris from the car's surface.

  • #2 WHEELS & TIRES

    Clean the wheels and tires: We use a specialized cleaner to remove any brake dust, dirt, and grime from the wheels, and a tire cleaner to remove any buildup on the tires. Once the wheels and tires are clean, we apply a dressing to enhance the tires appearance.

  • #3 DECON

    Clay bar treatment: After washing wheels & tires, we use a clay bar to remove any stubborn contaminants like tree sap, bird droppings, and road tar that may still be stuck to the painted surfaces. The clay bar is rubbed gently over the surface of the car to remove any roughness and leave a smooth finish.

  • #4 POLISH

    Polish the paint: The next step is to polish the paint using a specialized polishing compound. The polishing compound helps to remove any light swirls and other imperfections from the paint and leaves a smooth, glossy finish. This step is important to help protect the paint and keep it looking new.

  • #5 APPLY COATING

    Apply coating: After polishing, we apply a layer coating to protect the paint from the elements and help maintain its shine. The coating helps to protect the paint from UV rays, bird droppings, tree sap, and other contaminants that can damage the paint over time.

  • #6 FINAL STEP

    Clean the windows: The final step in a paint enhancement process is to clean the windows. We use a specialized window cleaner to remove any dirt and grime from the glass, and a microfiber towel to dry and polish the windows to a streak-free shine that also includes water repelling properties.

  • Ceramic Coating

    Apply a ceramic paint coating to all surfaces. This coating lasts 3-9 years, adds extreme gloss and hydrophobic properties, and becomes the first line of defense against bugs, tars and sap. It will help make washing extremely easy while lessening the amount of times needed to wash.
